Summary/Abstract: Article deals with the relations between two parliamentary chambers of the Parliament of the Czech Republic while exercising their legislative power. It asks a question, whether split majorities in each of the chamber in 1996-2016 resulted into more confrontational relations between the chambers and more frequent use of legislative tools such as Senate power to amend or veto the proposed legislative initiatives or Chamber’s power to override Senate vetoes.
