Summary/Abstract: The article reflects the place and the role of Mediatheque in the University community, its orientation for the provision of modern and affordable services to users, as well as on the training of information users. The role of this structure is highlighted the formation of non-traditional media collections, providing access to local and external databases, training of the users in order to exploit multi-media resources
