Multicriterial evaluation of infrastructure investment on the example of S7 Miłomłyn-Ostróda

Summary/Abstract: Infrastructure projects are one of the basic elements of development at national, regional and local level. Relevance of infrastructure investment determines the speed and at the same time sustainable development of municipalities. One of the decisive circumstances of local development is an efficient road infrastructure. The main problem, in terms of road projects, is their economic, technical and environmental evaluation. This article addresses the research problem related to the assessment of infrastructure investment in economic, technical and environmental terms. It presents a model for assessing on the example of national road S7 Miłomłyn – Ostróda. The results of the research give opportunity to a more detailed analysis and evaluation of road projects. For the needs of the study, an evaluation model was developed on a specific example.
