Aspects of research on employees’ job satisfaction

Summary/Abstract: This article is aimed at determination of scope and aspects of research regarding employees’ satisfaction. Current views on satisfaction have been presented. Broad context related to the feeling of job satisfaction has been noted. The issue of psychological and organizational conditionings influencing job satisfaction, as well as emotional states of satisfaction and reaction of employees in the context of attitudes that they present have been discussed. The mechanism of job satisfaction creation has also been described. It was noted 208 Dariusz Kosiorek, Katarzyna Szczepańska that: (1) dependences that occur during the creation of satisfaction determine the scope of research, (2) conditionings, emotional states and reactions constitute basic research areas, (3) satisfaction is connected with the concept of effectiveness (personal, organizational and work). This justifies reasons due to which research regarding employees’ satisfaction should be of multifaceted nature.
