Perspectives of teachers’ satisfaction

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the issue of employee’s satisfaction both from the perspective of psychology as well as human resources management. The economic aspect of satisfaction is emphasized. The links between satisfaction and motivation and motivating employees are indicated, describing similarities and differences thereof. It served as a basis for considerations about satisfaction of teachers employed in public and non-public schools in Poland. The analysis of the issue allowed to determine key differences between those groups of teachers in terms of satisfaction derived by them from work.
