Summary/Abstract: The activities that pupils are assigned with in class have asignificant and meaningful role in the learning26 process, thusthe selection the teacher makes is essentially important for theadvancement of the said process. In line with that, and bymeans of the analysis of the types of pupils’ activities featuringthe modern approaches like Learning via Research andLearning via Observing – when teaching the natural sciencecourses content of the curriculum for primary education, theobjective of this research paper is to point out that theseactivities are the core of the educational process and that it istheir quality plan and structure upon which successfulrealization of the course objectives and the in-class learningeffects depend. Further on, types of activities feasible toeffectuate pupils’ learning will be pointed out as well.
