CRIMINAL-LEGAL ASPECTS OF MONEY LAUNDERING

Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the role and importance of preventive measures in the fight against money laundering, crime which threatens to undermine the unpredictable way all the levers of power. To this end, special attention is paid to the way the definition of the crime in our current criminal law, not only in terms of enforcement actions, ways, shapes and forms of manifestation, but the measures, procedures authorized entities to detect, prevent and combat the activities of natural and legal persons related to the concealment of illegally obtained money. In addition, it is necessary to point out the indicators of the presence of this form of economic crime in society, for the timely response of the competent state authorities.
