Models of Technology Parks

Summary/Abstract: Technology parks constitute one of the most advanced institutional forms contributing to the activation of regional development. This modern organisational form enables wide cooperation among enterprises, for which raising the competitiveness of both the companies and regions in which technology parks function is a purpose. It may be said that parks are a base „of the knowledge-based economy”, and a very opportune offer for foreign investors and Polish ones alike. This article focuses on the presentation of different models of technology parks functioning in Poland.
