ASPECT AND TEXT: BETWEEN COMPLEX AND COMPOUND SENTENCES

Summary/Abstract: Aspect and text: between complex and compound sentences – In this paper we deal with aspect non only in verbs, but also in all interactions it establishes with other items of the complex sentence and within the text. Particular emphasis is given to grammatical aspect in conditional sentences. We also consider, in order to develop Guillaume’s perspective, research on aspect and anaphor (Berthonneau and Kleiber) and theoretical models (Moeschler) which take into account how aspect influences the construction of discourse and temporal structures.
