Summary/Abstract: The article studies the application of problem-productive strategies in students’ education for solving mathematical text tasks in the Primary School. The author presents different options for their application and one of the productive methods used here is modeling. For solving different mathematical tasks students apply objects visualizing, schematic and mathematical modeling. As a result of the use of problem-productive strategies students acquire knowledge, form skills and develop mathematical competency. The students are put in active po sition and form such qualities as creativity and critical observation.
