Expenditure on Insurance in the Households of Self-employed in 2010–2014

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to determine the change in the level and structure of expenditure on insurance in the households of self-employed. The article also contains analysis of the relationship of insurance expenditure with disposable income and with the number of people in the household. Time range of research covered the years 2010–2014. It was found that the biggest expenditures are allocated on motor insurance, including compulsory motor civil liability insurance. Studies have also shown that in the analyzed period, in self-employed households insurance was a normal good.
