Summary/Abstract: The article analyses vocational teacher training change paradigms in Lithuania, emphasizing the importance of learning in the workplace, discusses the role of mentor as vocational teacher trainer, analyses mentor training program and formulates guidelines for its improvement. Scientific literature, document analysis and survey methods were employed in the research.
