Summary/Abstract: The borders of the armed conflict appear to be increasingly difficult to distinguish, in relation with deep globalization, amid historic, external and internal tensions. The promotion of radical ideologies, the environmental issues and the depletion of vital resources for the economic development or even survival, are the premises of unconventional conflicts that can be easily exacerbated by terrorist entities to achieve objectives with radical foundations. Thus, the demarcation line between the civilian population and combatants seems to be increasingly difficult to distinguish or in some cases even cease to exist
