Summary/Abstract: The present study aims at presenting the configuration of the literary norm used by archimandrite Nicodim Greceanu in his translation of Polyzois Kontos’ Poikili Didaskalia, entitled Învățături de multe științe (1811). The analysis discusses the phonetic and morpho-syntactic features of the text in order to see to what extent they are specific of the Wallachian literary norm of the period.
