Summary/Abstract: Value Migration is a process consisting in the flow of values among businesses, sectors, states in order to find the most effective possibilities to invest capital. Most often the process runs in three stages: value inflow, its stability, and then its outflow, and to a great extent it depends on value drivers, which are the major determinants in the Value Based Management process. The knowledge of these processes and an ability to react quickly to the conditionings and changes being the consequence of their progress enables today free implementation of the goal of survival and development of firms on the market. The article presents the essence, determinants and stages of Value Migration, particularly in the context of contemporary processes of internationalisation and globalisation of economy.
