The Role of Risk Management in the Group Operating in the Area of the Mining Industry

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to introduce the problem of risk management in capital groups operating in the mining sector in Poland. In particular the risks associated with the human factor is shown. The main causes of “mistakes” human mining companies are also described as well as identified the ‘good practice’ which should be implemented in capital groups operating in the polish mining industry.
