Summary/Abstract: Purpose – The article presents an analysis of selected topics in the field of business management in terms of defining the vision, mission, goals and strategic planning as well as connecting innovation with creativity. Design/Methodology/approach – Analyses of content. Findings – What is depicted is the participation of various levels of management in the process of establishing the vision, mission and goals of the organization and the strategic planning. An attempt was made to define innovation in the perspective of creative approach to new tasks. The practical dimension of these issues were related to APPLE. Originality/value – Original paper – review with case study.
