Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the particularity of the Bulgarian language lesson in the secondary school. The links between the characteristics of the lesson and the specifics of the educational context at the beginning of the 21st century are clarified. A model is being proposed to systematize the teacher’s activities on analyzing, constructing and delivering the lesson.
