Summary/Abstract: The paper is the review and the attempt of analysis and discussion of the key regulations concerning customers as being the subject of ISO 9000. At the beginning of the paper it is pointed that dealing with customers is turning out to be more and more crucial to marketing as well as quality management system method. After the short review of valid ISO 9000 principles, the customer focus principle is discussed and two main purposes of implementing quality management system are indicated. Farther considerations present the term “customer” and its attributes according to ISO 9000 as well as the key requirements for quality management systems and requirements for products. A brief summary at the end of the paper gives a short analysis of the presented approach to the client according to traditional values of marketing.
