Summary/Abstract: The subject of this legal research is the child displaying deviant behaviour and the special need to provide for his legal protection and care. The paper points to the need to take adequate measures to overcome deviant forms of behaviour in adolescents. The report advocates the view that the effectiveness of these measures depends mostly on how the child displaying deviant behavior is perceived and defined in today’s complex reality: as a victim who violates the accepted standards of behaviour, or as an offender who does not respect and abide by the established principles in society.
