Summary/Abstract: The focus of our research is on tourism in the context of autonomous learning and youth. Tourism is an important phenomenon of our time, in the summer months it is characterized by almost "migration of the people", the essence of which is nowadays being captured by the experience of having experience - outside the place of residence. The starting point for our research is that when spending leisure time, doing various hobbies, etc., it is also possible to gain a great deal of new knowledge and important skills, since not only formal learning, but also non-formal learning and knowledge acquired through informal learning, are part of the definition of competent knowledge. The interpretation of Autonomous Learning is indicated in the article of Márkus and Juhász, in connection with tourism, this is done through the collection of information necessary for organizing the journey and through the activities during which the individual has learned informally.
