Medieval symbol and motifs used by the army of the third Reich

Summary/Abstract: This paper is concerned with the symbols and pictograms used by the army of the Third Reich, with a focus on the „Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler” division. In the context of a constant rising of the modern means of propaganda within propaganda rallies, an increase stimulated by the necessities of the conflict, the importance of the graphic symbol is demonstrated.The argumentation is realized on the value of the conventional symbol displayed on the surface of different mechanized means of transportation as well as different weapon categories, through the meaning of the transmitted messages and the attitudes noticed among the members of „Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler”.
