Summary/Abstract: In this study, it was aimed to conduct the validity and reliability study of "Primary School Environment Awareness Scale" developed to determine the environmental awareness levels of primary school students. In the course of preparation of the scale, the literature was searched with in the boundaries of the subject and a pool of substances was first created and expert opinions were consulted. The study group consisted of 473 students aged 8, 9 and 10 years, who were determined by simple random sampling and who read in the second, third and fourth grades of the primary schools in Konya province center. The data of the study were collected by "Personal Information Form" and "Primary School Environment Awareness Scale". The items in the scale are scored as "I Participate Totally" (5), "I Participate" (4), "Undecided" (3), "I Do not Participate" (2), "Never Participate" (1). In order to test the construct validity of the Environmental Cognitive Awareness Scale, item total analysis, item discrimination and test-retest analyzes were performed to test the exploratory factor analysis and reliability. As a result of the research, the items extracted from the scale (1 item in the expert opinion, 6 items from the competency and 8 items from the reliability) were obtained as the result of being valid and reliable. The scale consists of 35 item sand 4 sub-dimensions.
