Out of Here, But Where?

About the Performance EXIT

Summary/Abstract: This year’s TESZT Festival at Timișoara opened, traditionally, with a co-production, in order to promote the regional creative initiatives that are so close to the spirit of the event. The production by the Timișoara Hungarian company, the Romanian theatre from Arad and the theatre from Sombor, Serbia was directed by Árpád Schilling, who is devoted to the theatrical representations of social issues. In her review entitled Out of Here, but Where To Anikó Varga sees the actor-centred work as a virtue of EXIT, thinking, nevertheless, that the production has failed in going beyond well-known presuppositions in dealing with the problem of economic​ migration or migration in general.
