Summary/Abstract: In her critical review of Jakab Tarnóczi’s staging of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Oradea, AnikóVarga builds her interpretation on the idea that the general, anthropologically oriented presentation of the amorous intrigues, accompanied by images of erotic, sexual, and emotional attraction, marriage and relationship, is associated with the ecological perspective on reproduction, richly suggested, both visually and verbally, by the play. Although the opposites of natural and human, the given and the constructed make their appearance, their proportions and borders are uncertain and blend into each other productively, from the viewer’s point of view.
