M-banking as an important element of ICT information society

Summary/Abstract: In present time society is characterized by an increased need to use innovative and mobile IT solutions in everyday life. In this area telecommunications services and technologies of remote transfer and processing information are used. In banking and finances the most developed area is mobile banking. Comparing traditional and internet banking with mobile banking for consumer market shows that m-banking isn’t enough safe and trusted substitute but this solution is worthy of observation and further development. The article describes the basics informations of mobile banking as well as selected information from research on the use of this form of banking.
