Polish Crowdfunding Platforms - the Example of Polakpotrafi.pl

Summary/Abstract: Due to growing interest in community funding, crowdfunding platforms are emerging on the market. Among them are those that record the successes of projects submitted there, and those that disappear from the market after a few months or years of activity. The aim of this article is to present and analyze the functioning of one of the oldest social finance platforms in Poland – Polakpotrafi.pl. Research methods used in the work are primarily the analysis and critique of the literature and examination of source documents. The results of the platform analysis and the largest projects that received funding were presented in the analysis.
