Summary/Abstract: The article is taking the subject matter of managing the communication of the organization in area social media. In the article bases were discussed social media, philosophy Web 2.0 and virtual communities (Rheingold, Castells). The article shows findings of the activity of internauts in area social media (Forrester Research, Inc.).
