The Fate of the Teleki Castle

Summary/Abstract: In my paper I examine the last 70 years of the Teleki castle’s history in Gornesti, using the method of oral history. I interviewed 19 locals and the current owner, asking them about their memories, their opinion of the castle and the late proprietors. Being a local myself, I analyse the topic from a personal perspective giving space to the voice of the villagers, revealing stories that have never been heard.
