Summary/Abstract: Issues concerning the behaviour of consumers is now becoming one of the more interesting theoretically and practically important issue, both in economic and other social sciences. Economic environment in Poland during the last two years has done through tremendous changes creating business uncertainty, increased risk business, and consumer concerns. The crisis certainly makes lots of changes in the economy, both global and local. The paper presents results of research conducted by independent research agencies as well as by the Department of Marketing, University of Szczecin on the impact of economic crisis on consumer behaviour.
