Summary/Abstract: The paper was prepared for the 60th anniversary of the Sigismund Toduţă School of Music of Kolozsvár. The study investigates the aspects of one of the alternative method of reform pedagogy in the Hungarian department’s activity, between 2005 and 2009. The research aims to emphasize the way the local media could popularize the school’s activities. The content analysis of related critical writings published in the media points out the programs quality, the artistic standards and the audience’s attitude.
