Summary/Abstract: Author of the study examines the relation between poetry Austrian expressionist Georg Trakl (1887-1914) and Czech Poet Jan Skácel (1922-1989). Trakl´s work affected the development of modern Czech poetry in translations by Bohuslav Reynek in Thirties of the twentieth century by Frantisek Halas and other poets. The echoes of Trakl´s poetry can we read also in the sixties by poet Zbynìk Hejda, Jan Skácel and by Trakls translations by Ludvík Kundera.
