Summary/Abstract: Vilmos Tarján was a controversed figure of the Hungarian journalism of the beginning of century.His reportage about the night life of Budapest, about the corruption, the criminals etc. established a new genre of interpretation of the „sin”. Tarján’s personal life to had „interferences” with the law. Finally he quitted the journalism, and beginned a new carrier as owner of a restaurant.
