Summary/Abstract: The Romanian film developed in a very powerful way after year 2000. The international film criticism identified this phenomenon as the Romanian New Wave. Some people, including critics and Romanian new wave directors declared that the Romanian New Wave is not a real wave,because the creators’ style is not similar. Let’s see, is the Romanian New Wave a new wave, or not?
