Summary/Abstract: As a model for the denarii of the Bosnian king Nikolaus Újlaki (1471-1477), besides the Madonna-Denars of King Matthias Corvinus (1458-1490), the soldiers of two Aquileian patriarchs from the beginning of the 15th century served. Although the minting of the two last sovereign patriarchs already testifies to their decline or worsening coin quality compared to their predecessors, their imprints are not only interesting for us because of the coinage of King Nicholas, but also because the coins of the Patriarch Anton II (1402 - 1400) and Ludwig II (1412 - 1420) as a rule also appear in Hungarian coin finds.
