The Lemkos and Lemkovyna in interwar period

Summary/Abstract: The author presents assumptions of Ukrainian nationalism in interwar period as well as its influence and ways of agitation among Lemkos. He introduces main thesis of the most important ideologist of Ukrainian nationalism Dmytro Doncov. Sprawozdania z życia mniejszości (Reports of minority living) found in the Library of Central Archives Ministry of the Interior are the main source of his analysis. The sources present extensive propagation campaigns led by both Greek-Catholic Church, Proswita, UNDO and other Ukrainian organizations. It seems that after all Lemkos didn’t accept Ukrainian national sense.
