Questions about writing the history of the Hungarian press

Summary/Abstract: The historians great of Hungarian media (ex. Béla Dezsényi or György Kókay) did not transmitted their realizations over the generations. The biggest problem is that the history of the Hungarian press was not write as critical history of the public life. The author recommends that the history of the Hungarian press to be continued taking attention to the sociocultural premises too of the texts analyzed, their role in the transmission of information to the public. Lengyel is disappointed that very few bibliographers of media history exists (Sándor Scheiber, Éva Lakatos and so on). The author recommends bigger attention to factors and more organized research.
