Cultural events, job personality cult - „Cântarea României”, „Daciada”, „Plugușor”

Summary/Abstract: In this article the author describes in detail the role of cultural events in creating and maintaining the communist personality cult. Are presented the mechanisms of manipulation of the masses,the methods of creation of ideal individual, „multilaterally developed” (one of the key words of propaganda Ceausescu), yet subdued, controlled by the authorities. Máté points out that these cultural events from the beginning havent strong nationalist overtones, which have increased overtime. „Educational” events declared currently are not hiding the fact that they are an attempt to suppress the cultures minorities.
