Summary/Abstract: The column "theory and analysis" aims to contribute to the discussion, which deals above all with fundamental analyzes of social structure, its changeability and oppositional currents. Obviously, it should also be enriched with contributions from Western opposition and western leftists. The development of a discussion based on these texts will signal a step forward in the development of a comprehensive understanding of human rights. The first contribution by Petr Uhl is an excerpt from an unpublished book written by Uhl and several other comrades. The first part of this paper was a fundamental analysis of the character of Eastern European societies, which we already published in the Zero Number of the "GEGENSTIMMEN". The second part deals now with the emergence and political significance of the Charter 77.
