BOSNIAN KRAISNICS-FRONTIERSMEN IN MEMORY AND CONTINUITY OF TRADITION

Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the Kraisnics-frontiersmen are in focus, observed in memory, oral tradition and globalization processes. We followed them on selected examples, from Ottoman period when the Bosnian Muslims - Bosniaks were given the rule to guard the borders. The fighters for defending of Bosnian borders, its Krajinas, that were bastions of defence of Bosnia and the Empire, have lived through memory and tradition, supplementing the picture of history according to pro domo model. In correlation of reality and tradition, were constructed the norms that make it recognizable in the light of public opinion from domain of oral cultures. By identification of memory and oral history in tissue of oral forms and its prototypes, we come to category frontiersmen in span. Thus, through the history which has been written by people, we come to modernity and eternity.
