Summary/Abstract: Cataclysm of town Foča is not natural phenomenon. It was caused by people. That is the reason why it is a social issue in case of town Foča. It happened during the war 1992-1995 when the army and police of Bosnian Serbs expelled and killed all non-Serbs from this town. According to census in 1991, Foča had 49.513 citizens. From that number, there was 20.898 or 51,6 % Muslims – Bosniaks, 18.339 or 45,3 % Serbs, and 104 or 0,3 % were Croats, Jews, Slovenians and others. In town Foča, during the war 1992-1995 has left only one Bosniak – Nedžad Nećko Njuhović with his wife, of Serb nationality and two children. In 1993 Serbs changed the name of town Foča into the new name - Srbinje. Holder of those activities was prof. Dr Vojislav Maksimović from the University of Sarajevo. After the end of war, the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has brought the Decision to return the name of Foča for the municipality and the town. In town Foča, the Serbs have demolished all mosques – the number of them was 17. Among that, they demolished the Aladža mosque that was under the UNESCO protection and Turhan Emin-bay mosque, the oldest one in the Balkans. Today, in town Foča has lived 19 Bosniaks families. After 18 years, the first Bosniak child was born. There are the Association of Bosniaks culture „Preporod“ with its president Mr Ismet Hotović
