Intercultural Dialogue and Configuration of the Literary Universe in the 20th Century. The Paraliterature’s Resistance

Summary/Abstract: The conflictual dialogue between cultures, the tensions between the cultural and imaginary spaces, generating precise types of identitary answers, the game of influences, interferences as well as the dialogue with certain literary genres coming from the 19th century, the theme of "degradation" and its placing into space, become possible reading grilles. They are, of course, conditioning for the 20th century novel as well as the idea of "secondary discourse" developed by Genette (Fiction et diction, 1991),who sees the critic as putting something of his own identity in the discourse on the other (« discours second / discours indirect sur lui-même »). All these elements allow the revisiting / re-reading of the novel created in this epoch.
