Self-realization readers as a measure of the effectiveness of public library

Summary/Abstract: Increasingly visible in today's emerging need for a radical change in human activity. This change is moving towards independence, self-realisation, liberation from external constraints of individuals and expand areas of their own autonomy. In times of increased growth of information, must therefore increase the strength of the cognitive autonomy of readers and librarians teaching culture and culture to offer, should contribute to the support of those properties. The most relevant criterion for testing the effectiveness of teaching functions of public libraries according to their influence on the personality of the readers are readers and self-realisation of their work on its own character.
