Summary/Abstract: Emigration of the Polish population is a phenomenon that has been going on for many years. Migrations are the subject of great interest to the public, the mass media, state institutions and organizations. The Migration Research Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences has created a working paper presenting the multidimensional phenomena accompanying the migration of Polish families. The report highlights the most important aspects of emigration, with particular emphasis on children’s experiences, such as family practices and relationships, adaptation processes at different levels of social, cultural, economic and political life.
