Risk identification methods in risk management

Summary/Abstract: In environment, in which human lives, we can easily spot a risk that always existed which cannot be bound with any actions. In enterprise it is a phenomenon that cannot be eliminated. Every economical decision concerning current activity of company and its future plans is based on forecast of future actions and conditions.The purpose of this paper is to present the process of risk management and main methods of its identification. Author explains the basic concepts of risk and introduces the actual data about key risks for Polish entrepreneurs. At the end of the article an author has highlighted the main tools used in enterprises for identifying risk.
