On the Operative Value in History of Philosophy of the Triple Contemporary Positioning within the Foundations of Mathematics. Starting from the Writings of Alexandru Surdu

Summary/Abstract: Starting from the texts of Alexandru Surdu, we try in our study tocapture a perspective on logicism-formalism-intuitionism which transforms the divisionbetween the three orientations from foundations of mathematics into what we might calla hermeneutic triad. This triad has multiple valences, being relevant not only for thehistory of mathematics in a narrow sense, but also for constituting a sui generis historyof philosophy. The historical analyses of Al. Surdu of the intuitionist ideas of Aristotle,Descartes, Kant and, of course, Brouwer, are also a fruitful starting point in this sense.
