Social engeneering in spatial economy

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article was to present the possibility of using sociotechnical knowledge in shaping and strengthening spatial order in cities. The procedure for using a set of social engineering directives describing how to make targeted changes using specific measures is based on the evaluation and established values. The author presents the possibilities of using urban social engineering using examples of spatial planning, city functioning and monitoring of this functioning. The results of the reflections show how to combine the theoretical knowledge in the field of sociology and urban space management.
