Health behaviours of young, middle-aged and older women

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the behavioral component of attitudes towards health and more specifically, on pro-health behaviours of women. The analysis shows that there are differences in health behaviours between women who represent different age categories. With age women change they concerning about health and the way they take care of this resource, which are influenced not only by biological factors. Cultural concepts of sex (gender) and age (gendered age) which exist in specific cultural model of society are also crucial.
