External Communication Platforms of Municipalities ‒ Comparative Analysis

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the basic technologies of external communication of the local government and proposes their categories. The article also presents the results of primary research conducted among all the rural municipalities of Lower Silesia on the application of contemporary information and communication technologies. The research focused on external communication in the field local government - external customer. It has been shown that the range of the use of ICT in that field is still small. Solutions, which are popular and on-time, are used in a very small extent.
