Summary/Abstract: Regardless of its much older origin, the Kosovar question, as it is known, arose in all its magnitude in 1913, as one of the components of the Albanian question resulting from the decisions of the Great Powers at the Conference of Ambassadors in London. Although taken in the interest of peace in Europe, which in any case was not guaranteed, these decisions tolerated the expansion achieved by the monarchist policy of Belgrade and dictated the fragmentation of the Albanian territories. All the decisive clues, including the ethnic composition and spiritual constitution of the overwhelming majority of the population of Kosovo and many other countries annexed to Serbia, testified that these were Albanian territories in the true sense of the term, who were arbitrarily and unjustly sacrificed to remain under foreign domination instead of naturally joining the newly created national state.
